Q: How will you ensure that the curriculum and classroom experience fit my child’s needs?

A: One advantage of Russell Bede’s six-to-one student-to-teacher ratio is that teachers can take the time to work directly with your child and tailor the classroom experience to him or her, rather than vice versa. Teachers work directly from standardized classroom materials and modify as needed so that when students return to mainstream classrooms, they’ve been exposed to all the same materials as their peers.

Full tuition can range from $17,500 up front to $20,250 on a monthly payment plan for the 2006-07 school year. For the 2007-08 school year, it will range from $18,500 to $21,250.

Q: What sorts of learning disabilities do you work with?

A: At Russell Bede, we work with a large assortment of learning disabilities including dyslexia, dysphasia, Asperger's Syndrome, receptive and expressive language difficulties, and auditory processing disorders. So as not to disrupt the classroom experience, we do not accept students with severe behavioral problems. This allows teachers to focus their full energy on teaching and students on learning.
