There are many ways you can help support Russell Bede:

Capital Campaign

Our most recent capital campaign to build a new computer lab was a success. We are now embarking on a new $6,000 campaign to improve our gym facilities with additional equipment and a par course to help our children gain strength and coordination. This will expand our physical education program and benefit the children tremendously. For more information or to donate, contact the main office.

School Sponsored Sales

The Russell Bede School Parent Teacher Organization periodically sponsors fundraisers, including sales of candy, coffee, holiday wreaths and more. To support any of these sales, contact a student, a parent or the main office.

Annual Fundraiser and Auction

The Russell Bede School Parent Teacher Organization organizes an annual fundraising dinner and auction each Spring to raise money for expenses that are not covered by tuition. This year's event is scheduled for May 10 at the Benjamin Franklin Hotel and Astaria Restaurant in downtown San Mateo. Family, friends, alumni and other supporters are all welcome.

In addition, we are currently accepting donations for auction items: Hotel and restaurant coupons, gift baskets, services, vacation homes, sporting tickets, outings and more. For tickets or more information on how to donate, contact the main office or click here.

Endowment Fund

The Russell Bede School Board is currently setting up the Helen Myers Endowment Fund, named after its founder. This fund will provide scholarships for students whose families are unable to finance full tuition. For more information or to donate, contact the main office.

eScrip

Return a portion of your credit card spending to Russell Bede. Our eScrip program allows participating business partners to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to Russell Bede. Learn more

Schoolpop

Make your every-day shopping count for our kids. Schoolpop helps Russell Bede raise money by donating a portion of your purchases to the school. There are several ways to take part:

• Sign up for a Schoolpop credit card and 1 percent of every purchase made anywhere goes to Russell Bede School
• When shopping online, register your email address with Schoolpop and start each online purchase at www.schoolpop.com, where you can select from hundreds of brand-name merchants.
• Or when shopping catalogues or stores, register your credit card or ATM card with Schoolpop and use them at participating merchants.

Upcoming Events

Take part in Russell Bede fundraisers and events. The next events will be:

• School Tours: Public tours of Russell Bede School are offered on the first Wednesday and third Thursday of each month beginning October 3. For a reservation, please call the school office at 650-579-4400 or email info@russellbedeschool.com.
• Spring Fundraiser: A dinner and auction fundraiser is scheduled for May 10 at the Benjamin Franklin Hotel and Astaria Restaurant in downtown San Mateo. Friends, family, alumni and all other supporters of the school are welcome.
• Spring Performance: The annual Spring performance is scheduled for May 22 at Palos Verdes School auditorium, 1290 Commodore Dr. West, San Bruno. The students will perform a musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss. Friends, family, alumni and all other supporters of the school are welcome.
